Poems and prose (essays, memoir, fiction) recently published in magazines
I’m thrilled to have new poems published in that great Boston publication The Arts Fuse! Thank you, John Mulrooney. These poems will be appearing in my next book, Next! (new poems) which Chax will be bringing out on Dec 13, in the same uniform format as my last three books, the Selected Poems, Collected Essays and Collected Memoirs, making it the fourth volume in the standard edition of my work.
Brooklyn Rail! Very excited to have a group of five new poems, from a ms in progress, appearing in the November 2024 issue of the Rail. Thank you Erica Hunt and Tyhe Cooper.
I am thrilled, and honored, that Mark Young has excerpted sections from my upcoming Collected Memoirs to be published by Chax, forthcoming, in the latest - and, sadly, last issue of Otoliths, published today, August 1, 2023.
Exquisite Pandemic has just republished The Dust, my 9/11 poem. Also included here is an introduction/memoir piece of mine about the writing of that poem (‘About The Dust’), which is excerpted from The Selected:
from ‘This Means Ruin’ (my novel) in exquisitepandemic.com
from 'The Voices’ (about NYC and Covid 19) in issue #2 of Exquisite Pandemic, Oct 2020
from The Brooklyn Rail
